On behalf of the Oregon Conservation Partnership, we would like to invite you to a special panel discussion to learn about tools and partnerships for protecting water for in-stream and out-of-stream conservation purposes, which is especially critical as Oregon faces drought and changing water conditions.
Recognizing the link between land and water conservation, conservation and restoration projects are increasingly involving decisions around how to incorporate water rights. Water rights can be critical to meeting out-of-stream conservation purposes of projects, such as providing water for restoration. In other cases, water rights may support instream conservation priorities, such as habitat restoration.
