We Support the Member Organizations who are leading conservation in Oregon
The partner organizations- a collaboration between the Oregon Association of Conservation Districts (OACD), the Network of Oregon Watershed Councils (NOWC), the Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts (COLT), and the Oregon Conservation Education and Assistance Network (OCEAN), share a common commitment to protect and enhance Oregon's natural beauty and conservation values by promoting, supporting, and advocating for voluntary conservation throughout Oregon.

What We Do:
-
Communication and Awareness
We draw on our collective strengths to tell a compelling story about the value of voluntary conservation by educating our constituents, the public, legislators, regulators, policy makers, and other conservation organizations about how conservation districts, watershed councils, and land trusts contribute to conservation outcomes throughout Oregon. We will advance the science and practice of voluntary conservation by cooperating with partners to synthesize and share science-based information on voluntary conservation as a tool for achieving conservation outcomes in Oregon.
-
Professional Education and Networking
We share, plan, and coordinate our educational offerings and expertise, and work together to cultivate more cooperative relations between our organizations and constituents.
-
Government Relations
We coordinate our education and advocacy on behalf of voluntary conservation and its funding to legislators and their staffs, and to federal, state, and local agencies, their directors and policy makers.
-
Funding
We work together to maintain, expand, and diversify our sources of funding.
-
Collaborative Conservation Planning and Implementation
We share our experience and expertise and work together to assist landowners and land managers in planning and implementing conservation activities and programs.
