Navigating the Conservation Capacity Project

Join COLT and the Oregon Conservation Partnership on April 1 at 10 a.m. pacific time to learn about the Windward Fund’s Conservation Capacity Project, which is providing FREE rapid‑response and capacity‑building support for Tribes and U.S. conservation leaders and their organizations in this uncertain time.
The Conservation Capacity Project provides free access to experts in crisis planning, HR, financial management, fundraising, cybersecurity, and other support via webinars, one-on-one coaching, and curated resources.
New this year: guidance for tackling misinformation/disinformation, expanded assistance for groups considering mergers, and a robust collection of wellness offerings — including access to leadership coaching and some of the country’s top advocate-focused retreats to help address burnout.
Without this kind of free, top-notch support, many conservation organizations struggle under fiscal and operational strain, staff burnout, and the constant pressure to do more with less.
