Join us for the annual three-day conference that brings together local, state, and federal decision-makers, support organizations, professionals from Watershed Councils, Conservation Districts, Land Trusts and others committed to conserving our natural resources.
CONNECT provides training focused on both the technical and administrative aspects of conservation implementation. Classes are developed for rural and urban conservation implementation, managerial and administrative function, policy, and education and outreach activities, delivering content that is specific and relevant to current conservation issues.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Rose Graves, a landscape ecologist and postdoctoral research fellow working in partnership with Portland State University and The Nature Conservancy. Currently, her research is focused on how natural and working lands in Oregon can contribute to reducing greenhouse gases and mitigate climate change.
Note about the new date:
OCEAN has been closely monitoring the novel coronavirus COVID-19 updates and recommendations locally, nationally and internationally. The health, safety, and well-being of CONNECT 2020 participants are of the utmost importance to OCEAN and the rest of the Conservation Partnership. In an abundance of caution, OCEAN has made the decision to postpone CONNECT 2020 until December 1-3, 2020, at Sunriver Resort.
We hope you can still join us for CONNECT, but if you already know you can’t, you can request a refund through April 14, 2020 via Eventbrite. You also have until April 14 to cancel your reservation with Sunriver Resort (contact the resort directly). For more information about CONNECT in light of this change, visit the CONNECT 2020 website.
